INSTRUCTION
Project 1 :Research Proposal
For this task ,we are require to Specialisation confirmation, choose a research theme, choosse a topic and finish problem statement.
Project 2 :Critical Review
Instructions:
Select 3 research articles (related to the research problem) that were
published within the last 5 years.
Referring to the guide and notes provided in Microsoft Teams, write a
review for each article, following the list below:
a) The article’s reference, written in APA style (p.5), 7th edition. To learn more about APA style referencing, watch the short video.
b) Summary of article
c) Strengths & weaknesses of the article
d) Conclusion
e) Reference list
During weekly tutorials, students must present their progress through
PowerPoint. Feedback will be given during the presentation and students are
responsible for documenting the feedback for future reference.

Project 3:Primary Data
For this task ,we are required toSelect and justify suitable primary research methods relevant to the study. A minimum of one method is expected for this assignment.Carry out the research to collect data.Analyse the collected data.
In the PowerPoint slides, place research design in the following
manner:
a) Recap your research problem, research objective(s) and
question(s)
b) Describe the selected method(s)
c) Justification of methodology (an explanation, supported by literature,
defending your choice of method and how it is relevant to your
research problem)
d) Sampling procedure & data collection method
e) Collected data and analysis of data.
Strengths:
Efficient
Wide coverage
Cost-saving
Quick way to get results
Weaknesses:
Hard to convey feelings and questions through answering questionnair
It is not possible to control the audience proportion
What?
Online Website Design
Who?
Target Audience:People who use shopping websites
Why?
Understanding how cultural factors shape the design and interaction patterns of e-commerce platforms is critical to creating inclusive and user-friendly interfaces.
How?
A questionnaire witch include Uers prefference, dicisions and feeling about online shopping user interface design.
project 4 :
The research reflection report comprises the entire research project (the
research proposal, critical review of secondary research and research
design (primary data and analysis). The report will be accompanied by a
reflection which finalises the research journey.
Requirements
1. A final report in the form of PowerPoint slides that must include the following:
a) Research Proposal (the improved version IF necessary)
b) Critical Review (the improved version IF necessary)
c) Primary data & analysis (the improved version IF necessary)
d) Reference list in APA style (p.5), 7th edition
e) A detailed reflection for this module based on these criteria:
Experience, Observation and Findings.
2. A 5- to 8-minute recorded video presentation of the PowerPoint
slides. We recommend doing this in Zoom as it is straightforward. You
are to abide by the following:
a) Your presentation slides design should allocate a space for the
video.
b) Your face must be seen, and your real voice must be audible in the
video.
c) AI generative tools for video presentation are not permitted.
The penalty for doing so will result in an F grade.
During weekly tutorials, students must present their progress through
PowerPoint. Feedback will be given during the presentation and students are
responsible for documenting the feedback for future reference.
Submission In Google Classroom, share your:
1. Google drive link that contains the final report (complete PowerPoint
slides) and recorded presentation (mp4 format). Make sure your lecturer
has access to the folder.
2. Blog link. The blog should contain the MIB, final report (complete
PowerPoint slides), MP4 of the recorded presentation and weekly
feedback.

Field:UI/UX Design
Research Topic:nvestigating the Influence of Cultural Differences on UI/UX Design.
Final presentation PPT:
FEEDBACK
Week 1& 2:
The topic needs to be more specific. For example, UI includes application web pages, etc., need to select a specific topic for research and clarify the research focus field.
Week 3:The research shows that the problem statement should be a little clearer, be clear about the main purpose of your research, and the use of the research results.
Week 4:Survey questions can combine many elements into a main topic, such as text, festivals, etc., can be included in the element design. Three topics should have three research objectives.
REFLECTIONS
Experience:
It was a very stressful and interesting experience for me. From the very beginning, I began to have difficulty in choosing a topic that I was interested in. However, when I began to write the problem statement, I always couldn't find a clue. When I wanted to look for similar papers, most of them did not have access, which made me very anxious and began to procrastinate. I am very grateful to Dr. Charles for always giving me positive feedback and encouragement. When he gives me feedback, he always leads me to find the clue, which makes me motivated to continue the research after class every time. Although I think I did not complete the task well, it was really a very rewarding course.
Observation:
I observed that with the gradual progress of the research, my thinking gradually became clear. From the beginning to prove the theory with a long narrative, to later clarifying my theme and simplifying the content, every time I gathered the courage to ask Dr. Charles for feedback, it was very helpful.
Findings:
I found after this module, I had a better understanding of the research process, was more courageous to ask the professor for help, and learned to think logically and seek reference.
