Lecture 4: Card Sorting Method

In class this week, Mr. Zeon divide us into groups. Each group picked one person to be the moderator, while the others took on the role of participants. The moderator’s job was to watch how the participants sorted features and ask them why they put each feature into a particular category. The participants needed to sort the features and create new categories and features based on the topic, which was a travel planning mobile app.

PROJECT 2 : UIUX DESIGN DOCUMENT


Description After locking down their App concept and idea, students are now ready

to proceed to UX design. The students are required to produce a

comprehensive UX design document which will provide better directions

for them to design the app.

Based on the information gathered in task 1, students will:

● Determine and verify their target audiences.

● Outline the content element of their app, and exercise card sorting

method to achieve optimum information architecture.

● Listing the app features and identifying the application Minimum Viable

Product (MVP).

● Create wireframes for main screens

● Plan the user interaction and interactivity (Flow chart)



Submission 1 Slides will be submitted as .pdf format or Google Slides

2 UI/UX Document in PDF or Google Docs

3 Online posts in your E-portfolio as your reflective studies
