Final Project
INSTRUCTION
Final Project
In this task we are required to produce stop motion video.Voice over, sound
effects and music can be used, to tell a compelling story.
Final video is to be submitted in digital format:
▪ Screen Resolution 1080p(Full HD), 16:9(Wide Screen)
▪ Frame Rate 24/25fps
▪ Field Option Progressive Scan
▪ Audio Quality 48kHZ, 16-bits stereo
▪ Compression H.264
The final video will need to be uploaded to Youtube/Google Drive, and share
the link in eportfolio together with reflection.

I completed the final project by myself. All the characters in this
stop-motion animation are made of clay, because its material is very soft and
easy to deform, and the shooting process needs to be very careful.
After watching the video repeatedly, I actually had a lot of inspiration for
the sound of the picture. I collected a lot of sound effects materials and
selected the most suitable sound effects for this stop-motion animation for
editing
EXPERENCE:
This is a very interesting project. Stop-motion animation allows me to play
any creativity I want, but to complete the shooting, the idea needs to be very
complete, including shooting Angle, video fluency, character fixation, and so
on. I like to explore this interesting and difficult field.
OBSERVATION:
I observed that to create a lively atmosphere and lively animation, different
decorations can be added to each character, a variety of colors can be used to
increase saturation and activeness of the picture, and warm light can be used
to create a warm feeling. The shadow is also a very important part, I will try
to avoid shooting the shadow of other objects.
FINDING:
It is difficult for me to complete the whole animation on my own, because I
have to shoot both fixed and moving animation characters at the same time, but
at the same time, I have found many skills. Before shooting, I will always fix
the mobile phone on a tripod, set the lighting and the scene, which will make
the shooting smoother.
